Independent Percussionist.
Congas, Timbales, Bongo, Djembe, Cajon, Kalimba and other Percussions

Lives in Amsterdam, the Capital of the Netherlands. His parents are from the Moluccan Islands of Indonesia. Chanelsy has played the percussion for more than 30 years in different styles of music.

Teachers: Nippy Noya, Steve Boston, Bart Fermie.
He studied in 1991 Cuba Havanna with Eduardo Espasande and Mario Hauric.

Since 2010 Chanelsy is playing together with his son Gianelli.
